Background

When it comes to 3D printing materials, Nylon is absolute one of the most popular materials for professional users. Nylon has a wide range of applications thanks to its unique properties and its low coefficient of friction with a high melting point makes it especially resistant to abrasion and enables it to be used in printing for parts such as functional interlocking gears.

Stable Printing Environment

PA6 filament requires maintaining a high temperature and low humidity during printing. Using a closed printer for printing can maintain a relatively stable printing environment.

Storage and Drying are Crucial

As PA6 filament is highly sensitive to humidity. Filament comes in vacuum sealed packaging. To achieve optimal printing performance, we recommend thorough drying before use and after storage. Printing with a filament drying box ensures a high success rate.

Recommended Print Settings

Nozzle Temperature: 250°C-280°C. Bed Temperature: 100°C-120°C. Print Speed: 30-50 mm/s. Filament Dimensional Accuracy: +/- 0.03 mm. Note: Using a glue stick can improve bed adhesion.
